Reads for February and other things...

The flu! How it will set you back. I'm all better now, and I thank you all for the well wishes. I wouldn't wish that feeling on my worst enemy. It was pretty awful. So, I didn't get much read while I was sick due to my eyes burning like crazy.

Here is my reads for the month of February 2009:

Two for the Dough by Janet Evanovich
Pages: 312 My Rating: B

Fool by Christopher Moore
Pages: 304 My Rating: A

Highland Warrior by Monica McCarty
Pages: 359 My Rating: A+

Highland Outlaw by Monica McCarty
Pages: 361 My Rating: A+

Not a great month, but looking at last year, I'm doing much better than I was then. I had only read 6 books by March, and I'm up to 10 right now.

I'm currently reading The Riven Kingdom by Karen Miller. It's over 700 pages and I'm a few pages shy of page 300. It's not moving quite fast enough for me. I'm going to try hard to get my hour of reading in today, but I had a ton of emails to catch up on.

Also, I'd love to thank Laura for passing this award along to me
I guess there are some questions I need to answer and then I get to pass the award on to five people!
Rules: Write five things you are addicted to, and then nominate five people for this award.

My five favorite things!
1. Books (duh...)
2. My boyfriend
3. My bestest friends (Liz, Meg, Cindy)
4. My blog/email/internet as a whole
5. T.V. (It's sad but true)

And the five blogs I would like to pass this award to:
1. Brain Candy
2. The View from Sari's World
3. Kiss My Book
4. Serene Hours
5. Starry Night

Well. I must get going now. Won't have much to talk about if I don't start reading!
I'll be visiting blogs later today. Sorry I've been slacking everyone.

  2. I had the flu forever last month too! I posted a blog yesterday about all my lost savings from being out of it. It does stink and I wouldn't wish it on anyone either. Yeah to us now that we are feeling better!
